Are you there, W? A 16-year-old in Alabama articulates her courage and objections to the war in Iraq in her professional-looking videos on PeaceTakesCourage.com. She has been threatened with rape and murder for speaking out. This video, WWJD, that focuses on the injuries of children in the region, ironically and sadly has been flagged for mature audiences.
See her YouTube Videos here, including the emotional WWJD.

I have been a fan of Ava for quite some time and admire the child immensely. I have used her vids on some of my blogs.
I am much opposed to war as it is usually waged (the reasons). I abhor the deaths and destruction of a nation and of a people, but my top priority are our veterans and the innocent children killed and maimed in war. Maiming of the mind as well as the body are terrible, forever wounds. In some of my older posts on my other war blog, "This Is War", I have published photos and slides of the children, not to titilliate with "meat", but to make people see the true victims of war, the awful reality of it.
Thank you for visiting my blog and for the links and your input. I replied to you on my comment page.
Do visit any time. I do not advertise my war blogs but I welcome visitors and their comments.
I hope you receive this comment. For some reason blogger has been throwing bloggers' comment pages as an overlay on my blogs. Very odd. I only hope Blogger then throws the page back where it belongs with my commnet intact.
Ava posts her videos on DailKos here.
Stories about her on DailyKos are here.
